He has been mainly engaging into the research of drying agro-products, food processing and microwave drying and so on. In 1994, he went to Japan as the purpose of observation and research of current situation of Japanese food processing and market circulation for one year.
He has deeper research in terms of microwave heating, killing bacteria, drying technology and theory, especially distribution of power density, reflection feature in microwave drying chamber and engineering technology and theory problem of microwave-drying application. He has finished 5 scientific research projects and is in charge of another 5 research projects. He also has published more than 60 theses on ¡¶Magazine of Society of Agricultural Machinery¡·, ¡¶Transactions of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering¡· and Chinese and Foreign science publications and meetings.
