The 2 nd International Exhibition for Glass Products and Glass Technology

That will be held during May 24 - 27, 2008 in Cairo at International Convention Center (CICC) at Cairo – Egypt.

The first edition of Glass World Exhibition was considered a mark in the glass industry in the region, underlined Glass World exhibition as the ideal venue to hold new contacts which should generate business in the near future and it has currently become a leading glass exhibition in Africa and Middle East.

Glass World 2007 has exceeded all expectations. It's primed to become the Africa’s leading glass event, attracting visitors from not only the African and Arabian region but from throughout the world. It witnessed professional visitors, coming from the following countries: Algeria, Kuwait, Lebanon, Italy, France, Israel, Libya, UAE, Yemen, Jordon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Iraq, Germany, Turkey, China and Bahrain. The visitors were all looking for latest technologies, innovations, production line and new products.

Glass World 2007 marked as a central meeting place for the international brands which strive to be introduced and launched in the Middle East & Africa, as numerous transnational groups and world-famous professional glass companies showed up at this exhibition, including Bottero S.p.a, Bystronic glass, Saint-Gobain Group, Tamglass, and Z. Bavelloni. They came here along to represent every facet of the glass industry; a large majority of them have had good results and expressed their satisfaction to this exhibition and they expect that Glass World 2008 will become a grand stage for the glass industry in Africa and Middle East, so almost of them showed much enthusiasm to sign for the next version of the show.

In response to the growth of the glass market in Middle East & Egypt, the latest technologies, modern machinery and equipment for glass production are now the main concern of the glass manufacturers. Egyptian enterprises are increasing their production capacity and improving product quality. All of them underlined the date of exhibition to be the excellent trading hub in the glass industry.
